guess where these were taken

Nuclear fall-out shelter? An abandoned section of the NYC underground railway system? Also resembles a sci-fi set--like the one where Sigourney Weaver and Bill Paxton stumble upon Newt the space orphan in Aliens.

Just realizing it's probably not too difficult a guess once you see Vicky with the shopping cart.

I'll leave it to your bevy of other interested readers to make the correct guess.

Great atmospheric lighting, DHP. It can easily pass for the set of I Am Legend, the latest sci-fi about a lone survivor in the post-apocalyptic world.

I'm afraid you gave away the secret hideout's location with the third photo, though. It has a sign that identifies the site when zoomed in.

ahh, you're right, kdubs. switching up your pic, eh? almost looks like you're mimicking mona there--with your enigmatic/come hither expression. was that your inspiration?

"Come hither expression"? LOL! Actually, it's the "I'm not sure how this will turn out" expression. Who knows? Maybe Mona Lisa was wondering the same thing when she was posing for Leonardo.

Poor Newt. Neeeewwwwt! Is Vic Ripley in that picture? I can see it.

Sadly, the first thing I thought was "It looks like L.A." Desolate.

See you soon!
