yes, a shock indeed, Kenneth. I still don't know how Mr. Silver died, though.. it's odd--he seems like he has the more storied career (I can't name ONE movie that NR's been in; okay maybe one, that one with j-lo where she was a maid) yet he's receiving no coverage...
Just looked up Ron Silver on Wikipedia and found that he had a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Mandarin and taught at the high school level. Pretty random,no? He also became a Republican after 9/11, after many years as a Democrat.
Just so you know...that last comment from Jon was actually from me (Amy). Jon's gmail account was open on the computer and so it automatically said it was from him.
yup--he was also fluent in mandarin I think. went to yale law school for a year. prob after starring in reversal of fortune (good movie that vick put me up on) and yes, he pulled a dennis miller after 9/11...maybe that's why he got no coverage... i wonder if the oscars will diss him in their dead people segment next year just like they did with your boy brad renfro...

That is sad -- Natasha Richardson seemed like a nice woman. I really don't know much about Ron Silver though...
