Font talk

I was looking through my 9,000 fonts that my homegirl Courtney hooked me up with (thanks Courtney!) when I came across "Tango." I thought it looked familiar, and sure enough, it was the same font used for Last Tango in Paris! Thought I'd have a little fun with the movie poster.

So which came first--the font or the movie? Dumb question--obviously the font was created for the movie--right?

I would have named the font the Brando. I wonder if there are other fonts named after the movies that popularized them. For example, the Indiana (but not the Jones, I hope).

you got me curious--the name of that font is SF fedora... hey, that could be your nickname and/or the name of your blog considering your recent hat purchase!

I think the font was popularized by the movie poster so it got its name after the movie came out -- but I'm not a font expert like you!
